A few months ago I celebrated my 40th birthday. For the majority of those 40 years I have absolutely loved to promote health in any way I could. I believe it was noticeable to others early on in my life and it was obvious to me that it was something I felt strongly about. That passion for health promotion has just intensified as I have grown older and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else. I have always loved to try to motivate and inspire others to see their own potential and hope to help them be their best “self” and create a healthy balance in their lives with proper diet and exercise. I love to exercise, train and compete and take care of my body. I also love to organize and make people laugh. For those that know me personally, it is not a big surprise that coaching is a natural fit for me. It allows me to put all my best qualities into helping others. One of the best “gifts” a coach can receive from her athletes is their respect and kind words. I was truly honored to receive such a gift recently from my triathlon team (Team Blonde Runner – TBR) with all the words they would use to describe me:
